Families in Diabene a suburb of Kojokrom in the Essikadu-Ketan Constituency within the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis Thursday afternoon were sighted rushing to the Diabene community cemetery with coffins to collect the remains of their already buried dead relatives for reburial.

Wrreporters.com learns that the town is reclaiming part of the cemetery to ensure that they have a larger space for expansion works on a football field for the youth in the community.

Reports reaching us indicates that the exercise was boldly led by the Chief and Queen-mother of Diabene with the help of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly’s Environmental Health Department supervising the exhumation.

On arrival at the cemetery our cameras captured a back hole machine breaking affected tombs and exhuming coffins from the cemetery whiles family members also rushed to the scene to collect the remains of their dead for reburial.
